Georgia is a "Caveat Emptor" State ( the principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made)-meaning BUYER BEWARE.  As a professional, a home inspection is highly recommended because it gives the prospective Buyer and Seller insight on defects the property may or may not have prior to purchase.  Fayson Realty Group, LLC highly recommends a prospective purchaser obtain a home inspection prior to moving forward with a sale. 

Inspection costs vary depending on the property.  Oftentimes, if the property is over 3,000 sq. ft., a crawlspace, basement, attic, or separate building on the property, there may be extra costs involved. Typically, the costs can range from $300-$600 depending on services requested.
